Bukit Lawang (Orangutan Trek)
Day 1 – Arrival in Medan & Transfer to Bukit Lawang
Meet your guide at Kuala Namu International Airport.
Scenic 3–4 hour drive to Bukit Lawang, on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.
Check-in at Orangutan Treks Villa or partner hotel.
Evening: free to relax, explore the village, or optionally visit the Bat Cave.
Day 2 – Jungle Trekking & Orangutan Encounter
After breakfast, depart at 9:00 am for a full-day trek (6–7 hours).
Spot orangutans and other wildlife such as Thomas leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques, hornbills, and monitor lizards.
Learn about plants used in traditional medicine.
Afternoon: swim and relax at the Bohorok River before rafting “jungle style” downstream back to Bukit Lawang.
Evening: relax at Orangutan Treks Villa.
Berastagi (Volcano & Highlands Tour)
Day 3 – Transfer to Berastagi
Depart at 9:00 am from Bukit Lawang (3–4 hours drive).
Visit the colorful Berastagi fruit market.
Afternoon: explore Berastagi at your own pace, take a traditional “sado” (horse cart) ride, or join a cooking class.
Day 4 – Sunrise Volcano Hike & Transfer to Lake Toba
04:30 am: Sunrise hike up Sibayak Volcano with panoramic views, followed by a hot spring visit. Includes guide, transport, entrance fees, and takeaway breakfast.
12:30 pm: Continue to Lake Toba with stops at a traditional Batak Karo village and the famous Sipiso-Piso Waterfall.
Includes driver, fuel, entrance fees, drinks, and boat tickets from Parapat harbor to Samosir Island.
Check-in: Tabo Cottages, Joe’s Paradise, or Samosir Villa.
Lake Toba (Samosir Island & Cultural Tour)
Day 5 – Culinary Tour
10:00 am start: join locals in a village to harvest spices and tapioca leaves, cook a traditional lunch over an open fire, and enjoy it together.
Afternoon: swim, relax, and enjoy the scenery of Lake Toba.
Day 6 – Batak Culture & Island Tour
09:00 am start: visit traditional Batak houses, watch Batak dance performances in Simanindo, and see the historic Batak king’s residence at Ambarita.
Afternoon: return to your hotel and relax.
Day 7 – Return to Medan & City Tour
Transfer back to Medan (approx. 5 hours).
Optional sightseeing: Maimun Palace, Great Mosque, Tjong A Fie Mansion, or other city highlights.
Drop-off at Medan airport or hotel.
