Day 1 – Arrival in Medan – Transfer to Bukit Lawang
Pick up from Kualanamu International Airport or your hotel in Medan. Drive approximately 4–5 hours to Bukit Lawang, passing small towns, rubber plantations, and vast palm oil estates. Check into your accommodation and rest for the night in Bukit Lawang.
Day 2 – Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking (2 Days / 1 Night)
After breakfast around 8:30 AM, start your two-day jungle trek. Walk 6–7 hours through the rainforest in search of orangutans and other wildlife.
By late afternoon, arrive at the riverside campsite. Here you can swim, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings. Spend the night in a simple but cozy bamboo shelter with dome tents, mattresses, and pillows—falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle.
Day 3 – Jungle Trekking & Return to Bukit Lawang by “Jungle Taxi”
Wake up to the magical sounds of the rainforest. After breakfast by the river, enjoy wildlife watching—monitor lizards, tortoises, and colorful butterflies are often spotted.
Continue trekking 3–4 hours before arriving at the Bahorok River. After a riverside lunch, return to Bukit Lawang in a special way—floating downstream on a traditional tube raft (the Jungle Taxi)!
Arrive back at your accommodation in Bukit Lawang for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Transfer to Berastagi Highlands
After breakfast, depart for Berastagi (approx. 3.5 hours). On the way, stop at the “Ghost Village” near Mount Sinabung, abandoned after the volcanic eruption in 2010. Arrive in Berastagi, check into your hotel, and stay overnight.
Day 5 – Mount Sibayak Sunrise Hike & Hot Springs
Wake up early (around 4:15 AM) for a sunrise hike up Mount Sibayak. A short drive (15 minutes) takes you to the starting point, and a 90-minute hike brings you to the crater for a breathtaking sunrise view. (Alternatively, you can choose a later hike after breakfast.)
After descending, relax in natural hot springs. Later, visit the Berastagi fruit market and a Catholic church with unique Karonese architecture. Overnight in Berastagi.
Day 6 – Transfer to Lake Toba (Samosir Island)
After breakfast, continue the journey toward Lake Toba. Stop at Dokan Village, an authentic Batak Karo settlement, and the impressive Sipiso-Piso Waterfall with its 120-meter drop. Continue to Tiga Ras and cross Lake Toba by ferry to Samosir Island. Check into your hotel and stay overnight on Samosir Island.
Day 7 – Cultural Tour of Samosir Island
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day cultural tour of Samosir Island.
Visit Ambarita Village to see the ancient stone chairs of the Batak king.
Continue to Simanindo or Tomok Village to watch a Batak Toba traditional dance performance.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Enjoy a coffee break at Panorama Parhalow, offering stunning views over Lake Toba.
Return to your hotel and enjoy free leisure time—relax by the lake, go for a swim, or perhaps book a traditional Batak massage.
Day 8 – Free Day on Samosir Island
A relaxing day with no set program. Optional activities include swimming, kayaking, cycling, or simply enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere. Overnight on Samosir Island.
Day 9 – Departure to Medan / Airport Transfer
After breakfast, cross back to Parapat by ferry and continue the journey to Medan or directly to Kualanamu Airport (Medan) or Silangit Airport (Siborong-borong), depending on your flight schedule. End of the tour.
