09:00 AM – Pick-Up from Bukit Lawang
Your private guide and driver will meet you at your accommodation after breakfast.
Enjoy a scenic 1-hour drive to Batu Katak or Tualang Gepang, passing rural villages, rice fields, and jungle-clad hills.
10:00 AM – Begin the Rafflesia Jungle Trek
Start your eco-friendly jungle trek with your local conservation guide. The walk (1–2 hours) is easy and suitable for all fitness levels.
Along the way, you’ll learn about:
Rafflesia’s unique life cycle and symbiotic relationship with its host vine
Local flora and fauna — from wild orchids and fungi to butterflies and small mammals
Conservation challenges faced by the rainforest and its rare species

12:30 PM – River Relaxation & Swimming
After the trek, enjoy some free time to swim in the river, explore the area, or simply rest in the shade.

01:30 PM – Jungle Lunch
Savor a freshly prepared local lunch of nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice) served with fresh fruits and water.

03:00 PM – Return to Bukit Lawang
