  • 9:00 AM – Pick-Up from Your Hotel/Guesthouse

    • Your guide will meet you in Bukit Lawang and take you by becak (local tuk-tuk) to a nearby village — a short 10-minute ride through scenic countryside roads.

    9:30 AM – Begin the Eco Village Walk

    • Start your peaceful walking journey along the riverbanks and small pathways connecting local settlements.

    • Pass through cacao and rubber plantations, rice paddies, and tropical gardens.

    • Along the way, your guide will introduce you to friendly villagers, explain local customs, and show how traditional farming and forest conservation go hand in hand.

    10:30 AM – Learn & Participate

    • Depending on the season, you may have the chance to:

    • Help farmers plant or harvest rice

    • Join in preparing local dishes using organic ingredients

    • Observe or try simple handicrafts or weaving

    • Learn about native plants and how they are used for medicine or cooking

    • This is a hands-on experience designed to foster connection, learning, and appreciation for village life.

    12:00 PM – Traditional Lunch & Village Hospitality

    • Sit down for a traditional Indonesian meal, freshly prepared by local families.

    • Enjoy nasi campur (mixed rice dishes), local vegetables, sambal, and tropical fruits — all served with genuine smiles and warm hospitality.

    • Sip a fresh coconut drink while chatting with your hosts about their culture, family traditions, and everyday challenges in preserving their way of life.

    1:30 PM – Return to Bukit Lawang

    • After lunch, say your goodbyes and return by becak to Bukit Lawang, arriving around 2:00 PM.
