  • Day 1 – Into the Heart of the Jungle

    • After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your guesthouse at 09:00 am and lead you into the rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park in search of wild orangutans.

    • During the trek, your guide will share knowledge about the local wildlife, flora, and fauna. After lunch, continue trekking to encounter more wildlife such as Thomas leaf monkeys, white-handed gibbons, black gibbons, long-tailed macaques, pig-tailed macaques, hornbills, peacocks, and monitor lizards. You will also learn about trees and plants used in traditional medicine.

    • In the late afternoon, your guide will select a riverside spot to set up camp. You’ll have time to swim, help prepare dinner, or even try fishing.

    • After dinner, if the weather is good, our team will prepare a bonfire. Enjoy games, songs, and jungle stories before falling asleep to the sounds of the forest and river.

Day 2 – Wildlife Encounters & Jungle Tubing

    • Wake up to the calls of the rainforest and enjoy a warm homemade breakfast in this unforgettable setting.

    • Enjoy one last jungle lunch before your adventure ends with the “Jungle Taxi”—a fun tubing ride on oversized rubber rings down the Bohorok River. Float past scenic jungle views and wave to locals on the riverbanks as you make your way back to Bukit Lawang.
