    • Upon arrival, register at the local park office and meet your guide. Learn how the Tangkahan Conservation Response Unit (CRU) protects elephants and their habitat through eco-tourism and anti-logging patrols.

    • Elephant Wash & Feeding (1 Hour)

    • Join local mahouts (elephant caretakers) at the river for a gentle, ethical bathing session.

    • Help scrub the elephants, rinse them in the cool water, and feed them with freshly cut banana leaves and fruit.

    • Observe their behavior up close — playful, intelligent, and beautifully social animals that form strong family bonds.

    • Every interaction is respectful and supervised — no riding or performances, only care and observation.

    • After the Activity
