Day 1 – Arrival in Bukit Lawang (Jungle Gateway), Welcome to Sumatra!
Your driver will meet you at Medan Kualanamu Airport or your hotel for a private 3–4 hour transfer to Bukit Lawang, the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park — home of the endangered orangutan.
Check into your riverside accommodation and relax in the peaceful jungle atmosphere.

Visit the Bat Cave
Take a village walk to meet local families and see traditional palm sugar or tofu making

Day 2 – Eco-Friendly Jungle Trek & Orangutan Spotting (Day 1)
After breakfast, begin your 2-day/1-night eco trek inside Gunung Leuser National Park with your licensed local guide.
Walk through pristine rainforest to observe orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques, and tropical birds in their natural environment.
Your guide will share insights about forest conservation and local flora and fauna.
In the afternoon, arrive at your riverside jungle camp where your team prepares a delicious dinner over a campfire.

Day 3 – Jungle Exploration & River Tubing
Wake up to the sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast by the river.
After a short morning trek and optional swim near a jungle waterfall, return to Bukit Lawang — either on foot or by “jungle taxi”, a fun river tubing experience back down the Bohorok River.
Free afternoon to relax by the river or explore the village.

Day 4 – Halaban Ecotourism & Wild Elephant Trek
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day eco adventure to Halaban Ecotourism, part of Gunung Leuser National Park — one of the few places where you can ethically observe wild Sumatran elephants.
Trek with experienced local rangers to learn about elephant conservation and the efforts to protect this critically endangered species.
Lunch will be served in the forest. Return to Bukit Lawang in the evening.

Day 5 – Journey to the Highlands of Berastagi
After breakfast, drive about 3.5 hours to Berastagi, a cool mountain town surrounded by volcanoes.
On the way, stop at the Ghost Village near Mount Sinabung — abandoned after the 2010 eruption and now reclaimed by nature.
Arrive in Berastagi, check in at your hotel, and enjoy free time to explore.

Day 6 – Mount Sibayak Sunrise Hike & Hot Springs
Rise early (around 4:15 AM) for a sunrise hike up Mount Sibayak (2,094 m), one of Indonesia’s most accessible active volcanoes.
Watch the sunrise from the crater rim, surrounded by steam vents and mountain peaks.
After descending, relax in the natural hot springs below.
Later, visit the Berastagi fruit market, a traditional Batak house, and the Great Pagoda (Lumbini Park).

Day 7 – Berastagi → Lake Toba (Samosir Island)
After breakfast, begin your journey to Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake.
Stop at the spectacular Sipiso-Piso Waterfall (120m) and a Batak longhouse in Dokan Village.
Continue to Tiga Ras Port, cross by ferry to Samosir Island, and check in at your lakeside accommodation.
Evening at leisure to enjoy the view and local food.
Overnight: Lake Toba (Tabo Cottages / Zoe’s Paradise Waterfront / Labersa Hotel)

Day 8 – Departure – Lake Toba → Medan
After breakfast, enjoy your final morning by the lake.
Depending on your flight time, you can relax, take a short walk, or visit a local market.
Then transfer by ferry and private car back to Medan hotel or Kualanamu Airport.
