  • Day 1 – Arrival in Bukit Lawang (Gateway to the Jungle), Welcome to Sumatra!

    • Upon arrival at Medan Kualanamu Airport (or pick-up from your hotel), our driver will take you on a scenic 3–4 hour journey to Bukit Lawang, the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the last places on Earth where wild orangutans still roam free.

    • Settle into your eco-lodge along the Bohorok River and enjoy your first taste of rainforest serenity.

    In the afternoon, you can choose to:

    Visit the Bat Cave

    • Take a village walk to meet local families and learn about daily life and eco-farming

    • Overnight: Bukit Lawang (EcoLodge / Jungle Inn / Garden Inn / Orangutan Villa / Rindu Alam Hotel)

    • Meals: –

    Day 2 – Elephant Experience in Tangkahan

    • After breakfast, travel by jeep (approx. 2 hours) through forest and riverside roads to Tangkahan, a hidden eco-paradise inside the Leuser ecosystem.

    • Meet the local mahouts (elephant keepers) and join them for an ethical elephant washing activity — no riding, just gentle interaction that supports elephant care and protection.

    • After lunch at a local warung, enjoy time to swim in the natural hot springs or explore nearby caves.

    • Return to Bukit Lawang by jeep in the afternoon.

    • Overnight: Bukit Lawang

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

    Day 3 – Jungle Trekking Adventure (Day 1)

    • After breakfast, begin your eco-friendly jungle trek in Gunung Leuser National Park.

    • Your certified guide will help you spot orangutans, gibbons, macaques, hornbills, and tropical flora while explaining the delicate balance of the rainforest ecosystem.

    • After 6–7 hours of trekking, arrive at your riverside jungle camp.

    • Swim in the river, help prepare dinner, and enjoy stories or games by the campfire under the stars.

    • Overnight: Jungle Camp

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Day 4 – Jungle Exploration & River Tubing Return

    • Wake up to the sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast prepared by your guides.

    • Spot more wildlife as you continue the trek before making your way back to Bukit Lawang — either on foot or via a fun river tubing journey down the Bohorok River.

    • Arrive at your guesthouse and enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the river.

    Day 5 – Scenic Journey to Lake Toba

    • After breakfast, depart for Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake (approx. 6–7 hours drive).

    • On the way, stop at Sipiso-Piso Waterfall — a breathtaking 120-meter waterfall with panoramic views — and visit a traditional Batak Karo longhouse.

    • Arrive at Parapat, take a ferry across to Samosir Island, and check into your lakeside accommodation.

    • Enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by mountain and lake views.

    • Overnight: Lake Toba (Tabo Cottages / Zoe’s Paradise Waterfront / Labersa Convention Hotel)

    Day 6 – Cultural Tour of Samosir Island

    • After breakfast, set off for a guided cultural exploration of Samosir Island, home to the Batak Toba people.

    Visit key heritage sites:

    • Simanindo Village: Traditional Batak dance performance

    • Ambarita Village: Ancient stone chairs used by Batak kings

    • Tomok Village: Royal graves and Batak handicrafts

    • Visit a local coffee farm and learn about traditional Batak culture and architecture.

    • Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and relax by the lake.

    Day 7 – Return to Medan (Cultural City Highlights)

    • After breakfast, take the ferry back to Parapat, then drive to Medan (approx. 5–6 hours).
