  • Day 1 – Arrival in Bukit Lawang

    • Your journey begins with a scenic 4–5 hour drive from Medan (hotel or airport) to Bukit Lawang, the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park.

    • Pass through small villages, rubber and palm oil plantations, and rice fields before arriving at your eco-lodge.

    • Check in, relax by the river, or explore the village before dinner.

    • Your guide will brief you on your jungle adventure for the next day.

    • Overnight: Bukit Lawang (Orangutan Villa / EcoLodge / Jungle Inn / Garden Inn)

    Day 2 – 2D/1N Ethical Jungle Trek

    • After breakfast, begin your two-day ethical jungle trekking experience inside Gunung Leuser National Park.

    • Hike 6–7 hours through lush rainforest in search of wild orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, and hornbills.

    • Learn about medicinal plants, jungle foods, and forest conservation from your certified local guide.

    • Reach your riverside campsite in the late afternoon, where your guides will prepare dinner.

    • Enjoy swimming, relaxing, and sleeping under the jungle canopy — lulled by the sounds of nature.

    • Overnight: Jungle camp (bamboo tent with mat, sleeping bag, pillow)

    Day 3 – River Rafting & Village Tour

    Day 4 – Transfer to Berastagi

    Day 5 – Sibayak Volcano Hike & Hot Springs

    • Early in the morning, set off for an unforgettable sunrise trek up Mount Sibayak (2,100 m).

    • Afterward, visit Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, one of Indonesia’s tallest waterfalls, and stop at Berastagi’s vibrant fruit market to sample tropical fruits.

    • Return to your accommodation and unwind.
