Day 1 – Arrival in Bukit Lawang (Gateway to the Rainforest)
Your adventure begins with a private pick-up from Medan hotel (approx. 3 hours) or Kualanamu International Airport (approx. 4 hours).
Enjoy scenic views of palm plantations, villages, and river valleys as you travel to Bukit Lawang, the peaceful gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park — home to the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan.
Check into your eco-lodge beside the Bohorok River and unwind after the journey.

Day 2 – Jungle Trekking & Orangutan Encounter (Day 1 of 2)
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin your two-day ethical jungle trek inside Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the world’s richest tropical ecosystems.
Hike for 6–7 hours through dense rainforest, spotting orangutans, gibbons, Thomas leaf monkeys, and hornbills in their natural habitat.
Your eco-guide will share insights about native plants, forest conservation, and local traditions.
By late afternoon, arrive at your riverside campsite — a peaceful setting where you can swim, relax, and enjoy dinner prepared by your guide team.
Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and river.
Overnight: Jungle Camp (simple bamboo shelter with mattress & mosquito net)

Day 3 – Jungle Exploration & Tube Rafting Return
Wake up to the calls of tropical birds and monkeys echoing through the forest canopy.
After breakfast, continue trekking for 4–5 hours through pristine rainforest and along river valleys.
Spot wildlife such as monitor lizards, tortoises, or butterflies as you make your way toward the Bohorok River.
Enjoy lunch by the riverside, then float downstream on a traditional “jungle taxi” tube raft back to Bukit Lawang — an exhilarating and eco-friendly way to end your trek.
Check back into your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 4 – Bukit Lawang → Lake Toba via Karo Highlands
After breakfast, embark on a scenic full-day drive (approx. 9 hours) through the highlands to Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake.
En route, stop to visit:
Berastagi Fruit Market – vibrant with colors and local produce
Traditional Batak Karo Village – discover the unique longhouse architecture and daily life of the Karo people
Sipiso-Piso Waterfall – one of Indonesia’s tallest, offering a stunning panoramic view over the caldera
Stop for a local lunch in Berastagi and enjoy coffee or fresh fruit along the way.
Arrive at Parapat, take the ferry across to Samosir Island, and check into your lakeside hotel.

Day 5 – Samosir Island Cultural Experience & Relaxation
After breakfast, explore the rich Batak culture of Samosir Island with your guide.
Visit:
Simanindo Village – watch a traditional Batak dance performance and explore the local museum
Ambarita Village – see the ancient stone chairs once used by Batak kings
Tomok Village – learn about Batak craftsmanship and visit the royal tombs
In the afternoon, enjoy free time to swim, kayak, or simply relax by the lake.
Optional: Rent a motorbike or join a short guided trip around the island’s villages and viewpoints.

Day 6 – Return to Medan & Departure
After breakfast, take the ferry back to Parapat and begin your drive to Medan (approx. 5–6 hours).
Depending on your flight schedule, you can stop for refreshments or local snacks along the way.
Your journey ends with drop-off at Kualanamu Airport or your Medan hotel.
Please schedule flights departing after 20:00 to allow for travel time.
