  • Day 1 – Arrival in Bukit Lawang (Gateway to the Rainforest)

    • Your adventure begins with a private pick-up from Medan hotel (approx. 3 hours) or Kualanamu International Airport (approx. 4 hours).

    • Enjoy scenic views of palm plantations, villages, and river valleys as you travel to Bukit Lawang, the peaceful gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park — home to the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan.

    • Check into your eco-lodge beside the Bohorok River and unwind after the journey.

    Day 2 – Jungle Trekking & Orangutan Encounter (Day 1 of 2)

    • After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin your two-day ethical jungle trek inside Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the world’s richest tropical ecosystems.

    • Hike for 6–7 hours through dense rainforest, spotting orangutans, gibbons, Thomas leaf monkeys, and hornbills in their natural habitat.

    • Your eco-guide will share insights about native plants, forest conservation, and local traditions.

    • By late afternoon, arrive at your riverside campsite — a peaceful setting where you can swim, relax, and enjoy dinner prepared by your guide team.

    • Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and river.

    Day 3 – Jungle Exploration & Tube Rafting Return

    • Spot wildlife such as monitor lizards, tortoises, or butterflies as you make your way toward the Bohorok River.
